i'm ash. a wife + mother of two, residing deep in the woods of bellingham, washington. i highly enjoy romanticizing life + finding inspiration in the small things. making you feel like you're in a movie is what i strive for. it truly lights my soul.

i gravitate towards warm, earthy tones that help create a sense of intimacy in my imagery. the color palette is key to the story, giving subtle moody vibes, while keeping the focus on the feeling. whether it's a wedding day, a tender maternity session, or the quiet moments of family life, my goal is to create images that feel timeless and true to you. to be fully immersed and present in your session, you'll be authentically captured. it will spark emotion and bring you right back to these moments as you look back in the years to come.

a little about me:

i'm the happiest on a cozy, rainy day. i live for camping trips, listening to soft music, + getting lost in a good book. my brain functions best when my kitchen is clean. (team dishes over laundry any day.) when i have somewhere to go, i panic-leave extra early because i hate the feeling of being late. i like to think being early shows people that they can count on me.

 

i was born and raised in a small town in new york but moved to arizona when i was 16 years old. a few years later, i met my husband and moved to his childhood home in southern california. we left the desert behind with it's 120 degree summer days & traded it for the trees, the lakes, + the seasons. right now we are obsessed with bham + think we'll stay long term.

often times i get back in the car after a session with the fullest of hearts, just filled to the brim with gratitude. finding people who trust me + allow me to be creative is the purpose i've always longed for. the relationships i build are everything to me and i take a lot of pride in my ability to connect. i've found such a deep passion doing what i do and appreciate every inquiry sent my way.
